While I was between jobs from September 2012 to October 2013, I carried out voluntary work for conservation management, which works with local councils in the south London/Surrey area. Practical tasks included countryside management tasks such as coppicing, tree trimming, cutting back bracken and brambles, pathway surfacing, pond maintenance and signpost construction.
